Abstract
This short article takes inspiration from Chris McCabe’s poetic journeys – the author of Penned in the Margins’s In the Catacombs: A Summer Among the Dead Poets of West Norwood Cemetery (McCabe 2014) and Cenotaph South Mapping the Lost Poets of Nunhead Cemetery (McCabe 2016) – in which he captures a sense of emergent mapping allied with an anticipatory history - an anticipatory mapping - a theme that I will be discussing.
