Tania Rossetto is Professore Aggregato of Cultural Geography at the University of Padua (Italy). Her research interests include the relationship between map studies and visual studies, post-/non-representational cartographies, the embodiment of maps, and the portrayal of maps. She has also worked on the linkage between cartographic theory and literary studies, and in particular on literary geovisuality. Recently, she has pursued a line of research on cartography and object-oriented philosophy, including a work on ‘the skin of the map’. On these subjects she has published in Progress in Human Geography, Social and Cultural Geography, Tourist Studies, Cartographica, and the International Journal of Cartography.
