Simon King was based in Tokyo between 2015 and 2018. He now lives in Berlin. He has been a civil servant in the Home Office and 10 Downing Street in London, and currently works in the private sector as an adviser to international companies on strategy and risk. He has a longstanding interest in philosophy and the arts, including architecture.
