Oscar Aldred specialises in landscape archaeology. His PhD was on the archaeology of movement at the University of Iceland. He is currently working for the Cambridge Archaeological Unit at the University of Cambridge, focusing on excavation, post-excavation and research. He was the aerial and remote sensing mapping manager at Historic Environment Scotland, and is also a Visiting Fellow at the McCord Centre for Landscape, Newcastle University. He is interested in mapwork, the movement of people through landscape, collaboration and creative practice.
