Daniel Grizer is a native of Brooklyn, New York and has lived in London, UK. He has observed many other cities, and has seen them improving and declining. He also has a BA from The New School, New York and a Masters in Political Science from the London School of Economics.

Mel Grizer

Mel Grizer was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, USA., but has lived for the last 50 years in Brooklyn, NY. Mel had worked in his youth as a mechanic on pinball machines, a trade he learned from his father. This led him to do a stint in London repairing pin tables in the mid 60's in Notting Hill / North Ken. Not recognizable today.
His New York experience began in 1967 as a youth worker in a Juvenile Delinquency prevention project at the United Community Centers, a non-profit, inter-racial non-sectarian organization in the East New York section of Brooklyn.Over the years, Mel worked in various jobs in the organization, eventually becoming executive director in 1989. Since retiring as director in 2003, Mel serves as a Board Member through to the present. Mel also serves on the Board of Brooklyn for Peace,

In case any one is interested, Mel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA , and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.
