Drawing Life Maps of New Malden: Ethnographical enquiry into the Joseonjok people in New Malden by means of drawing practice

Abstract

This practice-led research brings together disparate areas, linking critical cartography through drawing practice. It is to examine certain contemporary drawing practices, considering drawing especially in terms of mapping, which is explored through engagement with the Joseonjok people in New Malden, London. This research depicts how I have used drawing as a way of showing my thinking process that can be incorporated into the practice of critical cartography.
