Julie Poitras Santos is an artist and writer. Her installations, performances and public projects look at areas where linguistic, visual and kinesthetic modes of exploration intersect, and often include a walking component. Recent projects include Linea: to go, to come, to yield at the Center for Visual Arts in Denver, Colorado (2015), O time your pyramids at the Institute of Contemporary Art at Maine College of Art (2016), and Platform Projects/Walks, a curated two-week investigation of walking as practice that involved fourteen artists, poets and cultural producers in Portland, Maine (2016).
